I seem to have messed up my install on my desktop. DK+ loaded fine on my laptop. This is what I did different. The demo was working fine on my desktop and I did not find an uninstall (If it was there I was blind) so I deleted the folders and files to install the full program. The full program crashes Cubase VST 5.1 and gives an error in the VST adapter for Sonar 3.1 saying the problem was in the main call. I'm pretty sure the cause was me just deleteing the files. :dog: Are there some registry edits or something else I have to do to get it to work? (like I really want to do that after what I've already done!). Thanks for any help.

a workaround now could be to reinstall the demo version,
unpack the full version elsewhere in your drive and replace the DLL in the demo folder VstPlugIn/NUSofting DK+/
with the full ones,

check that it works, then add the other kits in the
demo library from the full library

Hi liqih,

Thanks for the suggestion but the demos aren't even working now. :? Anything else I can try?

Yeah...just webt through this....go to library file...take out most of them....start DK in system...close system....replace library and go....(from an email from ligih).
The armchair is more than the sum of the bastards

Thank you meeks. I did what you said and it didn't load when I replaced the entire library. I replaced just one kit and it worked. I will keep adding kits in increments to see what happens. Thanks for the help! 8)

This is what I see thus far: It seems to only allow me so many kits in the library folder before making my applications crash. I have all but 13 kits in there and it is behaving at the moment. Could it be some limitation in the demo that allows only so many kits that carried over to the full install?

Moved over to the bugs thread.
