All the problems related to bpm and buffer size
have been solved, we are still investigating
on the installation issue a few users experienced.
For users with hosts asking for an even number of outputs a custom build with 10 outputs is available on request.
Please report in this thread any other bug,
we are working to make DK+ as much compatible as possible.

I'll be first then, with a non-audio one.
In the dk+ 1.0.htm file, when you double-click on the image of the amoebe skin, the amoebe.exe runs but creates a dk_skin folder on my Desktop, rather than overwriting the files in the correct dk+skin folder.
And, the links to the .exe files for the other images are not implemented.
Running the .exe files from within Explorer works correctly, replacing the skin files.
btw, can we post Feature Requests (FRs) here, too?

Is there a new version to download?

We have beta of the new version if you wat to try it,
fresh from my drive
http://www.dashsignature.com/download/D ... 4_demo.exe
(note it's a the demo version, it doesn't save presets)
shold be fixed:
random missing beat in Chainer FL Studio LIve 4.1,
low bpm bug,
some other minor bugs,
added:
display next pattern in live mode, channel 16 note message,
next pattern button becomes black

Hi Luigi,
Having problems loading the full version into energyXT stand alone. Reduced memory version will load but gives error on exit.
Tried new demo versions and both load ok, but if I save and close a song file containing them (either) I get: NUSofting DK+demo.dll error reading block "File" size 26. Then the song will not open unless I remove or rename the demo .dll files.
Great sounds though,
Cheers,
S.

They all work OK here, in energyXT.
(Mind you, I have renamed the "(less memory)" versions to "DK+ lite")
Can you try loading them in any other host?

Sounds similar the issues I'm having loading in Sonar 3.1 and Cubase VST 5.1. The demo was working before I loaded the full version. The full version here will give errors when all of the kits are in the library but If I pull some of them out,it loads fine.

Here's something that I don't think is a bug in DK+, but I thought I'd mention...
I can't drag wavs into DK+ in Cakewalk Home Studio using the VST Adapter, but I can using Directixer (though I've only got the Directixer demo).
I think it would be helpful to be able to drag and drop onto the voice editor page.

Just tried here with rendering at 32bit/96000 (for a short MIDI Part) - Rendered without any problems.Sturgeon wrote:Hi Darkstar,
Should have said I am using it at 32bit 96k in eXT.

DK+ problem is that I can't open a file after saving and closing it in eXT (in full version).
Wasn't using DK+ when freeze (not render)problem happened. It carried out the freeze ok, then crashed when I hit play.

Luisi,
I don't know if this is a bug or not.
The samples are stopping when I release the key. The note off buttons are not lit.
In other words DK+ is not ignoring MIDI note off. I've
tried toggling the note off button off and on. Makes no difference.
Any ideas? I'm running DK+ in Tracktion.

BR: Rendering at different sample rates
In energyXT, when you render a MIDI Track routed to DK+
- the audio for each note starts in the right position,
- but the length of each audio sample varies depending on the sample rate selected in energyXT.
For example: for a 1/16th MIDI note at 120bpm:
- rendering at 44100Hz gives an audio sample of 125 msecs,
- rendering at 48000Hz gives an audio sample of slightly shorter time (not 115 msecs though),
- rendering at 96000hz gives an audio sample of 57-58 msecs.
Other samplers render correctly.
I might be doing something wrong but I don't think so.
Just take a short MIDI Part (4-8 bars) routed to DK+ and render it at the various sample rates to new tracks. Then playback each one and listen to the difference.
Or look at the rendered waves in an audio editor.
BR: Forgetting Kit and style names
The DK+ Kit and Style names are not remembered when you re-open a song in the host - both fields say "Select" (the kit and the patterns themselves are retained though)
