Considering Scot's a professional sound designer producing Gbs of samples a month at the moment, I'd reckon there's actually quite a lot of common sense and judgement in his kit choice...

The Scot S collection with out any addition Is a sight to be hold. I've seen piks of the modular. Wooo And I do love hardware. Hey I got an SY99. But that's it. But Scot pays the bills with these tools/toy's so they do earn there keep

although im way more into software than hardware these days, there are a few hardware synths i still have various levels of lust for.

but if i could choose just one? thats easy...

the alesis andromeda. i've tried one a few times and it knocked me out. what a wonderful sounding synth. smooth, lush, full, liquid, real. i just want one, plain and simple.

in second place...the upcoming DSI poly evolver keyboard. (though i think it could potentially step into first place once i get to actually try one.)
