Problems: Terratec Phase 24fw together with Tracktion on OSX

As a recent switcher from pc to Mac, I installed Tracktion (which I previously used on pc) on my new iMac G5. Yet, although CoreAudio does recognize the Terratec Firewire interface I use, I cannot use its Midi nor the S/PDIF inputs. Analog inputs are recognized by Tracktion. Does anybody know how to make Tracktion recognize both the Midi and S/PDIF inputs in OSX? Thanx!
