(the one with Sir Bob Geldof on cover)
Nice big review, pictures etc - got a Platium award.
Anyway, clue me in as to the legality of scanning and posting...I'm at work currently but will endeavour to post scans, pics etc in a few hours, unless someone has beaten me to it or it's just naughty.

I'm no lawyer, but I would think it should be entirely legal to scan in and post the screenshots, so long as you're not reposting the review itself.

Weeeeeelllll...I don't know. Actually since the screenshots aren't released on the mackie site, they practically belong to the magazine itself.
This means they're copyrighted. If I were you, I'd think twice before posting them here...

Just put a watermark on it "all rights reserved to etc magazine and only is posted for informational use, please buy this magazine." or something

I'll be home in an hour and a half and will post them then - in the meantime can a mod (Beno?) give me a definitive "am I being naughty or not?" ruling?

Well they copied Sound On Sound's articles for long enough...mcnelson wrote:I'll be home in an hour and a half and will post them then - in the meantime can a mod (Beno?) give me a definitive "am I being naughty or not?" ruling?

This is an excellent review - congrats to Jules / Mackie for winning the coveted Platinum Award.
The scores total 45/50, which is a better overall rating than they gave Cubase SX3, Logic 7, Sonar 4, or Digital Performer! In fact as sequencers go it is second only to Ableton Live 4 in their "charts" (tee-hee)
From the review/screenshots I learnt more about the MIDI features and aux/send/return setup in particular. But much of the review itself covers familiar territory.
