Maybe I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.. or maybe, I just find it odd that people take sites so literally... when an ounce of common sense would let one deduce otherwise.

I dunno, an ounce of common business sense would say that anyone representing Mackie should take this more seriously.ModuLR wrote:Maybe I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.. or maybe, I just find it odd that people take sites so literally... when an ounce of common sense would let one deduce otherwise.
If you have requests for Korg VST features or changes, they are listening at https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/requests/new

Well, you take it literally when they do update it regularly for weeks...
And then it suddenly stops? They should either remove or change that text at the bottom of the page or better yet offer at least some little tidbits with further explanations about some of the new features.

Are they really that busy? Maybe they're working on a totally new design etc? I mean I guarantee you theres a lot of people looking and watching, especially on the dawn of all of this. Maybe that is the explanation?

Modulr,
You already have an inside look at all of this. Say you were some guy who was interested in the platinum award released from a magazine and wanted to stop by to the t2 site. It's out of date, there is no demo after namm... Seriously if it were me, I would say "what the heck is this?" It just is kind of like the first impressions thing. You see what I mean? That's all im really saying, and furthermore we need something substantial to keep us satisfied. That's all.

as I mentioned... we simply don't think the same way. So, no that is now how I would react. My reaction would be more along the lines that it's following a pattern common to most releases... so in essence it's par for the course.
Beisdes, there are no substantial words that will ever keep ya'll satisfied... trust me!

It is exactly Mackie style.h2ogun99 wrote: The question is will Mackie step up and communicate. This can't be good for them, and I can imagine that Jules hands are tied.

Proven over time, Mackie still alive and feel well. And you'll buy T2 in any case, 100%.

I'm just hoping that T2 doesn't remind me of a bunch of whining ninnies and picky ole biddies when it comes out.

I wish people could be a bit more relaxed and patient too - it's not like it's wildly innacurate - it is in the weeks after NAMM and it's only March 16th; not a big deal. My point is that the communication from Mackie to its existing Tracktion customers sucks. This is the company's official forum. What is keeping them from simply saying "Sorry, we're running a little late," or "We know you are all waiting patiently, just bear with us and we'll have some information for you next week" (or whenever). To me it indicates either that they don't care or that they are too unorganized or short staffed to provide a true liason to the forum. Just my opinion. But it certainly makes me think twice, no, three times, about buying T2. I mean, we know there is going to be a bug ironing process after the release. How smoothly is that going to go given their lack of attention to this forum.
