Just when I was beginning to think the rumoured 2-page advert in EQ was another hoax, along comes the April 2005 issue of Sound on Sound and - yes - the 2 page add is spread across pages 106-7.

As mentioned on the previous thread about EQ, the add shows the new MIDI editing, the full screen metering, and the plug-in bundle which mostly consists of those previously announced, but also shows what looks to me like a very impressive compression plug.

But best of all is the headline caption for the add:

"IF YOUR MUSIC SUCKS,
IT WILL STILL SUCK.

YOU'LL JUST MAKE IT
A WHOLE LOT FASTER!"

Fantastic line!

I have a scanner, but I'm about to go off and teach now....

If someone can give simple instructions how to add a graphic to a post on KVR here I will do it later this evening for you, no probs.

headquest: To add a picture, just add (img)http://the-url-of-your-image-hosted-online(/img) but replace the ( and ) with [ and ].

I told you the ad was for real. I just had no way of getting it into the computer without a scanner or camera. And when I sent my wife to the store to do it, the machine was down. I would have done this myself, but I've been sick and haven't even left my bed for almost a week.

Hopefully, the ad will be scanned in by SOMEONE soon, as I know many would like to see it.
