Wow. It has the same 2 page ad we've seen, and elsewhere it has a 4 page foldout section (front and back)all about T2.
Mostly the same info we already know. Looks like there will be some more Mackie plugs, even some new ones. The ad lists a Multiband compressor, ducker, de-esser, channel strip, and reverb. Some of these are asterisked with footnotes saying they'll be available in April and some in June.
Sorry, I can't scan this here, and it's not my mag, so I can't take it home. I imagine this stuff will appear on the Mackie website pretty soon.

Sorry. I tried the Jedi Mind Trick on him, but he just said, "get your own, you freak!"mandolarian wrote:Yes you CAN!!! We won't tell!
Gotta say, Mackie are really pumping money into advertising T2. That's a *lot* of real estate in a major music mag.

Huge! 10 pages??? That kinda marketing money won't impact the upgrade cost will it?

Advertising tracktion probably helps sell hardware as well so its a good investment for them. A few online retailers have T2 priced at 150.oo so i'm hoping its going to be fairly reasonable.

I think you are on to something there... there are only confirmed beta testers, along with huge advertisements in big publications, and a picture of a masked man holding a t2 box.AlanB wrote:This seems a lot of effort to advertise something that you can't buy yet. Perhaps there's problem?

Ok, say there's no problem...so it WILL be released before March 31st and not on March 32nd, right? Or is the masked man not not wearing a wrist watch?
Also at this point I'd hope the beta-testers are just rubber-stampers. I can supply the ink.

Yes it is. But bearing in mind how far in advance magazine space would need to be booked, I think that the plan was to have the product available by now.Advance advertising is extremely common and effective as an advertising strategy.
It would be nice to have some news, even to tell us that there is a delay.
