I am at the end of mixing 11 songs in T1 what would happen if I upgade to T2 to use the 64 bit mixing engine to print the finals would it change anything?

Sorry, this doesn't make any sense. If indeed there was no real difference.....why even make it 64 bit? It's just words to make it look more attractive? No.
The mo' bits........generally the mo' better. That is why higher bits takes more pcpower and why it is being implimented.........
I don't think anyone is old enough on these boards to remember how things used to be done. The thicker the tape, the better it sounded 99% of the time. It's not any different in the digital world. The more info that is used to "capture" what you are doing.......the better chance of it sounding better.
Of course the type of connectors, input/output, and all associated matters too.......but in principle........mo' bits............mo' betta.

My guess is that 64-bit implementation was a fairly easy bit of code to write* and provided a good stick with which to bash those people who denigrate the quality of the results possible with Tracktion.. but basically, a properly written 32-bit mixing engine is perfectly good enough for anyone IMO. 64-bit resolution can be important in recursive filter algorithms, where tiny errors in the feedback loop can have disproportionate effects on the sound, but not for simple addition.
Maybe one day I will hear a difference and change my tune..
At least T2 will give us all the choice.
* Jules: my sincere apologies if you slaved over it for weeks!

Well, for one thing, you'll get 384 dB of dynamic range. And if you really want to win the loudness wars you'll want that 64th bit to be the most significant bit anyone will ever hear. Of course now you have to buy the new fusion-powered Mackie monitors that output 384 dB at 1 metre...

Yes.
Also, when I said it doesn't make any 'practical' difference, I meant that it won't make a difference you or I would be able to notice. (You're using Blockfish as a master bus effect, after all.
It will supposedly make a difference somewhere in the chain of things, but not anything that will change the settings you've been using.

Well, the thing is though, the bit thing is less subjective than the sample rate thing. Again, more bits, better chance of accuracy when recording, mixing, etc.
