Anyone that said Whitney Houston's 'I Will Always Love You' is insane. Just because you've heard it a million times to the point of tedium doesn't mean it's a bad song. You're not fooling anybody, we know you were blaring it when it first came out.

Destiny's Child's 'Soldier' is fast making it's way up my all-time worst songs list. Or Snoop Dogg's 'Drop It Like It's Hot'. Both equally ridiculous and bad.

Dunno about that. It was immediately and obviously cuntish.

Pure comedy gold.

If you want your head to explode, scroll further to the Terrifying Christian Recordings section, and click on A Cowboy for Jesus.

I can say with all certainty that I did not blare it when it came out, but I don't think it's the worst song ever. Whitney Houston's song about children being the future or I want to dance with somebody are far worse.

And it's Dolly Parton's song by the way.

I have a personal problem with someone like her "retireing" and allowing the rest of us to take a deep breath.........then.........coming back to punish us some more.

Trust me, I've never blared that song, ever. I would remember committing such an atrocity.

The song itself, isn't the horrible part. For me, it's the nearly unintelligible ear-splitting manner in which she warbles her way through it.

For sanity's sake, how many syllables do you really need to piercingly yodel into the acoustic space of a one-syllable word?!

Oops! I just broke own of my own rules.

I normally try not to denounce someone else's work as being intrinsically inferior, simply because it doesn't suit my personal taste at the time. So, let's just say that Whitney's performance of that song didn't suit my personal taste--in the extreme. :)

There, that's a much more enlightened and accurate analysis of the situation. I'm sure someone loved her warbling, because that song kept me away from certain radio stations for quite awhile. :)

To anyone who likes the song, I'm happy for you. It's good to have things in life you can like. :)

Just to show that I've got a good sense of humor, anyone care to speculate what autotune (set to "Cher") would do to that song? :hihi:

take care,
