If it were me, I'd try to find a firewire device, especially if I were already looking in the $200+ range. I've heard lots of people claim that firewire is better, but on the other hand, many (like Tingle!) have had success with USB stuff. Just my 2 cents. Either's probably fine, but firewire would be my choice. (Of course, having said that, I'll probably find a cheap USB device that I'll grab off ebay!

If you have a decent sound card and just need a good mixer, look at the Soundcraft Compact 4. Extremely good quality and documentation, and a real bargain at $100 street. Go on the Soundcraft site and look.

Unfortunatly.......this is true. It's a super slick idea......but it's just been a laughing stock in the talk circles......very poorly constructed.timmyo wrote:I was looking at one of these but was put off. It got a really poor review in a mag recently (SOS ? I don't quite recall) - they said it was amazing on paper but not so hot in use (sorry to be so vague - I only skimmed the review in the newsagentsdarcyb62 wrote:I'm looking at the Behringer B-CONTROL AUDIO BCA2000.)

I don't think there's much wrong with the physical construction, but the drivers, that's where the crappiness takes placeeyeknow666 wrote:Unfortunatly.......this is true.
