Tibetan school children using T2 !

I just happened to be visiting a school in a remote mountainous area of Tibet and I could hardly believe my eyes. A class of children were using Traction 2 in their music lesson. The teacher told me that they were beta testing the software and that they prefered it to other leading brands. I was amazed by this but also disapointed that Mackie had gone this way.

It re-enforced by feelings that nearly everybody was either testing or reviewing Traction 2 - except us loyal users or are mearly scratching around with scans of magazine articles etc.

Oh, I also forgot to mention that in this village, Julian Storer is considered a living god, a little bit like the KVR forum, I felt.

Bye bye

As a fromer shaolin monk I can tell you that our tibetanian schools try to use the teachings of confusious on every plane but the mundane computer-technology plan. I mean, tried to play the sitar or jumping extreamly high in the air? These kids have a tough time as it is.

Actually, this is true. Here he is pictured with one of the first beta-testers, reading about T2.

Philip,

You did used to work for the communists, didn't you? A master at creating artificial history you are. What graphics software did you use for this? You have a talent. I hope that it's being used for the common good (well, the snickering giggle that your visual mashup started me on was good for me as well as the pants tool memo way back when)

Valley,

You are right. I'd seen the crop circle shot before, but didn't realize that it was part of this thread - quite funny actually. Even better was the fake tabloid cover. People like Peter and Philip give those that fall for conspiracy theories fodder for their ways. Still very entertaining!

I suspected that. Did anyone confess to this? Was it Philip?

Philip, for what it's worth, I credit you with introducing the additional meaning of the word 'pants' into my vernacular. Unfortunately, I've caught myself using it here in the US, with the British meaning, and of course I get nothing but strange stares as a result.

In that case, in the interest of cultural exchange, I am going to start describing rubbishy things as 'trousers'.
