Does anyone have a "this space reserved for Zebra 2" audio-object icon for Logic?

It is $109 i think. I nearly have the bucks saved so I am ready as soon as Urs has it up and running. I can't wait.

Don't you mean was? The $109 was charged to my credit card on 4 June 04.Beardedone wrote:It is $109 i think. I nearly have the bucks saved so I am ready as soon as Urs has it up and running. I can't wait.

Yeah, but everybody had the option to wait with the purchase until the Windows version was released. So, those who stated that they wanted the Win version back then do still have the $109 option.LarryAW wrote:Don't you mean was? Unfortunately, it ended up worse than I could ever have imagined. Firstly the failure of the first approach, and then it took pretty long to get a crossplatform engine going upon which I could create Zebra 2.
The good thing is, the engine has now reached a very good condition on Windows.
It took long, and I feel indeed bad about that. I think all of those who had already bought Zebra Win back in June - like you did - have agreed on the Zebra 2 idea and on a discount on one of the next products.
I think it would only be fair to set you up with a free Filterscape, if you are interested. What do you think?
Cheers,

That's okay by me. Do we need to send you a copy of our shareit receipt or do you have the info on file?

Yes, please include the receipt... or at least include you name and a valid email address...Notron User wrote:That's okay by me. Do we need to send you a copy of our shareit receipt or do you have the info on file?

I decided to wait for the windows version to demo before commiting to pay. But after seeing how good Filterscape is I have no concerns that Urs will more than succeed in porting Zebra. I plan to place my order shortly. Urs is a genius.

That didn't come out right at all. I just didn't know that it can still be gotten for $109. I know it has been a nightmare for you, and I sincerely don't mind waiting for how ever long it takes. I have already explained the $109 to my wife, so I look at this purchase as "money in the bank." It's paid for.
I was/am going to buy Filterscape, so a 25% discount would be great for me. I don't expect it for free. My comment was strictly regarding the group buy. That being said, I am glad other PC users can still get it for $109. I just didn't know they could.
I am in awe that you could switch gears like you had to and develop Zebra and Filterscape for the PC. I am not a programmer, but if I had been in your situation, I am 99.9% certain that I couldn't have pulled it off. So don't worry about me.
thanks,
Larry

And, when your PC developer had to drop out of the project, you told us about the problem and you told us we could get our money back if we wanted it. I didn't then, and I certainly don't now. You have absolutely nothing to feel bad about.LarryAW wrote:Hi Urs,Urs wrote:Yeah, but everybody had the option to wait with the purchase until the Windows version was released. Thanks Larry!
However, I'll happily give Filterscape for free to those of you who have already purchased Zebra back then. Well, some (2 or 3) have switched to Mac
, some have joined the beta participation offer on page 24, so there are 5 or so left. I won't get broke by that (it's not MusikMesse...), but I'd feel much better!
The problem is, I'm not sure if my list is complete and if the emails are still valid. So, please send me an email...
Cheers,
Urs
