Windows explorer?
careful, tiger ;-) - what did ModuLR code Tackybrowser for then if it is such a hilarious feature?

You have given me all the ammunition I need: until I can slice an audio clip and see all the plugs that were dropped onto it duplicate themselves for the new clip.. or write a song in 7/8.. or slow down for the end of a track.. I will not be switching to eXT.

If you try to persuade me to add it to my VST collection, you may have a little more chance of success. ;)

So is T2.
yes? I hads the impression you can only change its colours... :?

Can you load your own bitmaps for buttons, faders, etc.?

That would prevent all the clever scaling features that makes Tracktion's JUCE interface so perfect. IMO.

Who cares anyway? Pink and green was fine by me, I could stare at it for hours..

Its a DAW not an art package.. ;)

- beat-slicing
Easily achieved with Tracktion's object oriented audio clips, and auto-tempo feature..
sorry, I that was badly expressed - my bad - I emant

'automatic beat slicing with support for midi-based arranging of the indiviudal slices (and automatic generating of the respective midi-files)'

eXT doesn't??? :o :-o

And you expect me to take it seriously as a sequencer?

I am a serious musician therefor I can produce a track with (say) 25/16tripplets in any sequencer  :hihi:
- I have loads of tracks with odd time-signaturesd done in eXT

Tracktion's interface is so clean and powerful, that doing it manually is almost as quick, and much much more fun! I use manual beatslicing quite a bit in T, and feel little need for any extra hand-holding from the host..

Must be a right royal pain in the arse though! :nutter: Why not just use a real sequencer? :P

nope - it's not - I used to use manual beat-slicing quite a bit in T so I know the difference very well...

besides you have much more flexibilty regarding the individual slices in eXT... (drawable envelopes per slice and the like)

I have to go to bed now (hours ago actually!)

But I go to bed still a committed Tracktion user, secure in my knowledge that I can subtly speed up my choruses if I need to. :hihi:

Goodnight all.. :)

it was a real pain in the arse in the beginning - but now I'm used to it - the advantage is of course that the count-in/metronome is still usable... ;-)

Nope. You can't drop an effect onto single slice.

Anyway, we have fade in & out (ie: AD envelopes) for each slice, plus powerful automation if needed.

I really am going to bed now!
