EVE: EVE 1.8 VSTi upgrade for Windows released

Welcome to EVE 1.8, this upgrade brings EVE audio chain to an higher degree of quality.

Totally rewritten EQ section for each layer, with high qualty filters.

New Vintage Phazer effect module, for the "good old warm phased EP" and much more.

New Vintage Filter module, for wah and sweep effects.

The new modules work as insert in Mixer section.

Thanks for the update, I'm also hoping to get more sounds soon too. Does the update come with new sounds, I see there is a new pay set.

how do you use the waveshaping? it is in the picture, but not written in the manual.

Liqih, regarding waveshaping:

well, the new 1.8 update help has in blue font 'waveshape' over the graph of the wave in slot one. How do you do waveshaping?

this is a great free update. love the phaser - it fits so well with these sorts of analog sounds. if i was being picky i'd ask that eve 2.0 have an even more powerful phaser effect - something like running an old analog synth through a guitar foot pedal (which i used to do) for the *really* heavy phaser effect

also the sync range of the filter effect seems a bit limited. again i'd hoped that it might have the same sync time options as the echo unit.

speaking of the effects, since the echo effect and the 'modulator' effect slots seem to be the same size on the gui, will version 2.0 allow both slots to be interchanged ? that way you could replace the permanent echo effect with something else. or maybe have two echos loaded

anyway, a fantastic free update many thanks.

any more details on version 2 ? features or rough release date ?

I like this idea alot. Running chorus/phaser along with the new filter would be cool.

And please true mono legato in 2.0!

Back on topic, I really like 1.8 so far - hopefully I'll get a chance to check out Evalon soon too. The mp3 demos sound promising.
