Hey Urs,

Just wondering, do you plan on implementing the Randomize feature within Zebra? I use Zebra within Cubase SX, but I keep Plogue around so that I can utilize it's built in randomize function.

Noticed that Filterscape has a randomize feature, please, please, please release this in Zebra 2.0!?!

Well, Randomization is built into the new engine, so it's not bound to a specific plugin. Zebra 2 will be based on this engine. So it gets Randomize 8)

It has been asked adnauseum. The answer remains the same: Probably this year! :shock:

No, seriously, I'm already doing some conception (well, I've been doing this for almost a year now), but I'll start on the implementation when the engine is finished (that is, when the VST Win versions of Filterscape go final)...

(and of course, it will feature true VST support, not a wrapper like the ZebraShell)

I love the Randomize function in Filterscape. :D
It would be nice if it left the volume alone tho.

Probably this year?

Did the Zebra 2 will come out so fast after FS PC your head will spin idea go away?

Nope. It'll be pretty fast!

But as you see, porting the engine to PC took 7 weeks so far (4 on the Mac for the crossplatform graphics layer and fixes to the VST part plus 3 more weeks on the PC for what we have now). Add another 2-3 weeks (including MusikMesse), and then it should be done.

I have got everything prepared dsp-wise. This part should be super quick, like 1-2 weeks for final implementation. But then there's gui and enhancements to the engine (alternate scalings and stuff). Dunno.

Sigh...

It's 11:30pm here... I'm taking off for the rest of the night.
