I have downloaded several free VSTi's and most come with a full bank of 128 patches. Some are a bit skimpy though....so, how do you increase the total number of patches if the VSTi only comes with, say, 25?
I've heard of Music Concrete...is there Music Asphalt?

I mean, if the bank that the VSTi comes with only holds 25 or 30 patches, how do you expand its capability to hold 128?

That new "Minimouge" VSTi and a "wavetable" synth called NoteGraphica don't have many patches. Seems like a waste to offer so few slots for new patches.

Well, it's fun to tweak! I downloaded it because it was listed as a wavetable synth. I spent part of my afternoon yesterday trying it out.anyway thx for an interest in my vsti, notegraphica.
I still don't see why there are absolutely no free wavetable softsynths out there like a PPG or Microwave XT. Can it be that hard to create them?

If you clck on the lower panel, when the VST is selected, where it says "save" you can create a pre-set or an fxp or fxb to save the patch that you have made.
And then you can load that at a later time by choosing "load".
