So instead of having to use the mouse to turn it on and off all the time.
I looked in the list of what you can assign and I can't see it anywhere.
Anyone got a clue?
Dave
How do I change the scroll to a shortcut key please?

are you talking about changing between scrolling/zooming?
if so, i find that life becomes infinitely smoother in T if you embrace the right-click-drag zooming feature. that's always to hand so it's like having an extra control just for it. so i use the WHEEL to SCROLL, and if i want to zoom in/out, i right-click (hold) and drag the mouse to zoom. it zooms relative to the cursor position, so it will zoom in or out depending on whether you're moving the mouse towards or away from the cursor.
however i do have one wish!
feature request!
just like we have CTRL/ALT modifiers that we can hold down when we drag clips, it would be PERFECT if there were a modifier key for the aforementioned zoom method; say if i were to hold down CTRL when i right-click-drag-zoom; this could then have the same effect as when you grab the cursor by the timeline - where you get a cross pointer and you can zoom/scroll with both axes of movement. that's one of the slickest interface features i've ever encountered but it's such a waste that you can only access it from the very top of the cursor. or perhaps it could happen if you were to hold the wheel/middle button down.
i hope beno/jules see's this request!
