i tried deleting user settings file, same problem.
fyi, windows task manager reports traction process doing millions of page faults
energyXT works fine w/VSTs, audio, etc.
T1 hangs at startup

Never had that problem myself, but I've read post mentionning bad VST's can do this; maybe empty or move your VST' folder and try to load T again?

One thing I have done with success. Although judging by the fact that you have already tried moving the vst folder this may not be your solution. BE CAREFUL. Empty the recycle bin. Open the vst folder. Select everything. Send it to the recycle bin. Open Tracktion. Return one thing at a time back to the vst folder until you find the offending plugin. Then smash it with a hammer. Or delete it. You choose.
