Now when we know what we'll have in T2 it is time to start discussion about new features we would like to see in T3.
First of all, some idea about release time for T3 (let say January 2006). Mackie could initiate some buzz about that, so more and more potential buyers would be involved in Tracktion orbit.
Hopefully, upgrade from T2 would not be more than 49$ for T2 users and 99$ for T1.
T1 is proven solution and many potential T2 users could even prefer it over T2, so at the end of the day T2 could even be by-passed and released as T3 in Spring 2006.
To be fair to users, Mackie should organize poll, whether T2 is necessary at this moment at all.
What to expect with T3.
Plug-ins worth 5000$ at least, as well as, bundle of demo versions of Cubase, Samplitude, Fruity Loops, Reason and Sonar to improve user's confident that T3 is what he really needs. Well, at least on subconsious level.

Some other ideas?

My version 3 groundhog will kick your version 2 groundhog's arse.

He's 'ard, and he comes in a bigger box.
Someone shot the food. Remember: don't shoot food!

Version 3's official animal will be the prairie dog.

Righty -- first, I've been using T3 for quite a while, and like it fine. Had a lot of fun with it.

When T4 came out I wanted to upgrade but didn't have the money, and since then I've not had the chance. Maybe eventually. The additions aren't quite what I'd hoped for, but it's still a pretty good deal. For the time being, T3 does what I need.

All I want to know is this: why are y'all discussing the Tassman in a thread in the Raw Materials forum? O_:-}

Other T3 incarnations are widely recognized, too. Korg as first example on mind.

I'd be a bit surprised if T3 is coming immediately after T2. I would instead expect some rather minor version upgrades (mostly for bugfixes, but also some new features) for a few months before T3 is even considered.
