thanks - what I'm looking for though is a way to move the cursor say to bar twenty without clicking.
In DP you press "." then enter the desired bar number then "enter" and you're there. Tab takes you to the nest field etc etc.
Its great for setting In out points etc if you know where you want to be...

you can use the bookmarks to perform a more limited version of the same:
set the cursor at a useful point in an edit, and press CTRL plus one of the number keys (ALT on Mac IIRC). That'll set the marker. Now you can jump to it by simply pressing the same number key (no CTRL).
With 10 of them available, there is enough for most jobs.

Its a small thing but entering the counter location is handy for setting those locate points... I like to leave snapping off for editing reasons but like to locate right on the bars - and when you're working really fast its nice not to have to be continually clicking. A detail but it would be nice ...
