problem: tracktion and soundcards with multiple mono outputs

hi,

i'm using tracktion with an usb soundcard called maya 44 usb. the asio driver that comes with the card (latest version) provides me with 4 mono outputs. tracktions wants me to set ONE default output, which then of course is mono since no other is avaible.
and that's my problem, since the default output is used for thinks like the final mix, which is of course stereo. it doesn't care which output i use, the signal will always be send to just one of the 4 outputs, which menas: i hear only the left channel.

i'd like to stick with that card for now, since i cannot afford another one. i tried asio4all, but the problem is that my card has only 2in/2out when used in directsound mode, and so asio4all also got no more than 2in/2out.

one solution could be: using one track as groupchannel for the left output and one for the right. but that would mean not beeing able to pan, stereo plugins would be only in one channel etc. - my tracks would always be only left or only right.

anybody got a better solution, or is there a way to get tracktion to use one output for the left and another for the right channel?

normally in the audio properties you can select whether inputs act as a stereo pair or two mono inputs.

I don;t know if Tracktion will be able to gang your inputs, but try going to the properties page, select one of the output devices, and clicking the stereo button.
