Hey squids,any E.T.A on the downloads yet?
I mostly purchase single sounds and samples via download for a specific project or idea but am not impressed with the choice currently available from your competitors.(poor sound quality/variety or overpricing.)
I was very excited to hear that you are entering this field as i respect your work and am very interested in a lot of specific parts of your varied collections, but my budget is tight hence i have been reluctant to pay for the compenents which i don,t require.

Downloadable sounds will be a big thing on www.esoundz.com and actually after a while people will think the site was made for THAT above anything else. However, we decided to run it on a completely new server that can handle large volume of downloads since we think this will be very popular and don't want to "wait and see" and have it not be just right for our customers. Well, we always do the best we can and Rob is a perfectionist so... stay tuned! It's coming soon... real soon.

A few trivial questions:
Will there be some sort of break for Gold and Platinum esoundz members? You mentioned at one point that we could possibly prepay by purchasing epointz. Will you offer something like a deal where if you're a gold member you could prepay $100 for $120 worth of epointz, or something??
I imagine that some of these individual sounds will be sounds that are also available on sets. Will these sounds say something like, "this sound is also on the World Traveler set" ??
A few trivial questions:
Will there be some sort of break for Gold and Platinum esoundz members? You mentioned at one point that we could possibly prepay by purchasing epointz. Will you offer something like a deal where if you're a gold member you could prepay $100 for $120 worth of epointz, or something??
I imagine that some of these individual sounds will be sounds that are also available on sets. Will these sounds say something like, "this sound is also on the World Traveler set" ??

Yes, exactly. If it is from a library then it will say so (in case you have that lib and wouldn't want to duplicate). If it is previously unreleased in that form it will also say (those are for EVERYONE of course and there will be plenty). We're also putting up every sound from the original Sonic Synth 1 (for anyone still using ST1 as well as ST2). Each one will have a little demo too so you can hear it. This way sounds that were discontinued from the first one can still be had ala carte. That's just one thing we're doing. It's going to be a really big thing for us. Just been having a good look at the downloadable sounds. Very nice (although as I have SS1 from the group buy I do already have some of the stuff).
Good job though.
Squids - the demo link for the Scheff on the Lake doesn't seem to work.
Edit: neither does the 70's Leslie guitar.

I don't mind you mentioning it at all. Rob wants to know that stuff so he can fix it right away. You can even email him if you want. robert@esoundz.com Or you can just post it on KVR here or in the announcement thread at the top.
We have to do a lot of riff demos now so if anyone is good at that stuff feel free to contact us about doing it. The way it works is that you'd do demo riffs for a product you own from us and then you can earn epointz for any demos we can use. The demo riffs are short and are meant to just show off that sound in action for a moment to get an idea.
As to the sound list, the initial listing is just something to get it started. Monday we're putting up a bunch of sounds that have never been released in SampleTank format, particularly rare instruments from around the world! Should be a lot of fun. So, next week is the big launch. We just put it up today to see how people like it and if there is any feedback, requests etc.
