What is all this talk about 'fish' anyway. ttoz brought it up in a thread of mine and I still can't figure it out.

it's just a kvr (although its roots are much deeper than that) thing. "Fish" is the "non of the above" or "I really don't care/have an opinion" option.

People like to vote "fish." It gives them a sense of being part of something greater than themselves.

Embrace the fish.

n. 1) type of cold-blooded aquatic animal with fins and scales;
2) a popular option in KvR polls, one that nullifies the other option (much like the use of the word 'mu' in zen-budhism; an alternative opinion
e.g.

1) Yes
