Let's say I have a rack filter with an energyxt sequencer in it (I would like to use energyxt's sequencer instead of the tracktion one).
Because of the VST spec, it seems I am limited to 1 midi out. So I would like to send midi events - coming from the rack - on channel 1 to tracktion track 1, channel 2 to tracktion track 2 etc.
As it stands, all the events on all channels go to all tracks.
Is there a way to do this?
thanks
filter midi events from rack filter by channel?

I think NialM's set of plugs (can't recall the link offhand - try a kvr or google search) includes a MIDI channel filter.

This actually sounds pretty interesting, I would never have thought of using multiple sequencers like that...will they all play back in perfect sync? would I hit play in tracktion or in one of the energyxt sequencers? I guess I'll just have to try it tonight, thanks!Warmonger wrote:Wouldn't it be easier to just have multiple instances of eXT, each with one sequencer part? Then you don't even need to mess around with racks; just insert each eXT as the first filter for each track where you need it. There may be more CPU usage, but it shouldn't be a substantial amount.
