Just loaded an old project in T2, 5 midi track each playing the Wusikstation VSTI; the bassline is dropping about every 3rd notes.
The CPU is not redlining
I did not tick 64 bits mix engine
Didn't change anything to the project and it work just fine in T1 (I just checked right after).
And no, it's not the demo hissing noise, I know how to make the difference.
I can reproduce it if ever more details is needed.

The only bug I see so far is in the color settings.
Changing the "Input Device Meter Background" does not work at all.

Just to clear things, it has nothing to do with the midi note off message that T2 is sending to external hardware. Firstly it's a all VSTI project, no external hardware; second, other tracks play just fine and thirdly the note on is behing sent but it look like it's the audio that's stutering. And also, soloing the stutering track or changing the track routing(that track was part of a "sub-group") has no effect, idem for removing track effects.

Ok, doesn't seem to interest anybody here.
Should I or shouldn't I write a full on bug report (considering it's not even released yet), and if I do where do I send it? Do I include the project archive if I were to?

If you are sure you have a bug, you can replicate it, and you feel so disposed, I'd definitely say you should send a bug report.

Valley, while I have your attention, could you just try this filein T2? it's a simple midi clip, put any VSTI at the recieving end (just tried it with free ASynth default patch) and let it play through; then set a quantize figure for the clip (any will do) and let it play trough again. Byt the third bar it should now be stutering and dropping notes like crazy (at least it does it here).

Why not, it's just a few kb mid file. I just thought it would be better to try it on a system without the demo restriction.

Yep, confirmed. If you quantise note lengths as well as start times these become really obvious.. I couldn't get any stuttering though: just the normal choking effect of double notes. (Tried it with ASynth)AD80 wrote:Hay I just tryed the mid file. It looks like the notes that drop out have really small duplicate notes underneath. I mean they're really tinny notes 1 tick long and with the same velocity. I think those are causing the synth to choke that note.
