During the beta test, quite a few of us got caught up in theming... so it only makes sense to make a theme swapper thread (maybe if it gets filled with good stuff, we can stickify it). In any case, I don't think some of the other cool themes quite made it.. so let's flood this thread with the goods. :)

BTW, props to Jules, Beno, Dan, and the rest of the Mackie cru! and the beta-squad as well! w00t! :D

My two contributions...

M-Subminimal v2
M-Greymatter-v2

I find the color editor to be unfriendly.
The lack of some custom presets is realy bad.
I can't even copy the "color code" on top in case I want to make two things the same color.
The only way to do it is to write down all four slider numbers on paper and then dial them in on anything else that needs to be the same color

there should be at least 8 presets, but quite possibly quite a few more.

When I say "presets" I mean saving one perticular color as a preset.
For example I made the area above the tabs light brown F87645ZZ81.
Now I want to make the meter background the same color.
The only way to do this is to write down the slider positions and then manualy dial them in again.

use the text editor and just copy and paste it... it's very simple that way

Do you mean like copy the 4 slider values into notepad and then copy and paste them 4 more time?
Good work arround but still quite time consuming.

I just use a color-picker app and a bit of creativity. I agree that the schemer is a bit unwieldly... at first it seemed almost like a :P to us for asking for the function. ;) Once you've done 2 full schemes, though, you can get up to speed very quickly indeed.

Another option is to use search and replace in a text editor, or so I'm told. Haven't tried it myself.

erm no.... you can simply make a screenshot, open photoshop dasve it as a jpg.... print it out.. write the values down and scan them... then see if you can OCR them into text and voila...

you can simply put them in the colour scheme file you can open via the editor
