OK, I just noticed that says V1! But that is the page that comes up when you select About>Buy a License.

I think if you buy it now you probably have a good case - though the few times these sorts of things have come up before courts it has generally been found that no point of sale agreement existed until a confirmation was sent from teh retailer.
I doubt Mackie would be unreasonable about it though. If the offer is available, take it.
I'm sure you'll find T2 is enough of a polish on T1 that you'll want it.
