i'll leave this forum because allthough i love tracktions concept t2 doesn't fulfill my needs.
no:
-clipautomation
-offsetsnap
-grouping
-folders
-normal solo behavior of subtracks
-fast auxsend access
-fast way for monitormixes
-uncluttered view for projects with more than 30 tracks
-fast way to cleanup a long wav where i only used 1 bar from in the edit
-muting clips
-ghostclips
-lock clip positions
-....

was nice to be part of the t-fans but t2 dissapointed me, don't think it will make it to a serious studio-software in the near future. maby t3 will do it, but i don't expect new features in t2 soon.

goodluck aldi. i can understand your disappointment.

I must add that the need for features that help large projects is a must.

the clipautomation was also a necessary feature for me. i think i have to switch back to ext, at least i can folder the miditrack with their envelopes there.

Reality is also starting to sink in a bit for me as well. Not down on it really, but lots of little issues and missing features. I'm not sure what T2 gives me LE7 doesn't, especially since I'm getting up to speed with Logic more each day.

And the fact May is a ways away is also a big drag.

I guess a lot of peoples will feel disapointed or let down when they see that their most wanted feature is not included in this release, but I think T will still be the fastest and most simple app to quickly recording and laying down ideas. The fact that most of the new features are centered around Mackie's own hardware shouldn't be a surprise to anybody, it's just logical; now that that's out of the way, let's hope RMS and Mackie start to really look at users request.

Except, of course, for the fact that they're not ...

Utter nonsense! Only one new feature is in any way specific to Mackie hardware..

Sorry to see you go Aldi. But hay, have fun with your other host. If it helps you make music faster then use it. For me, even without those features you mentioned I still have more fun making music in T1 than any other host. T1 is also faster to me than any other host. I aint goin nowhere. I'm sure the following updates 2.x will bring even more features so I'm not worried.

An intuitive and fast interface that makes sense?

bummer!

I always thought that was one of T1's daftest omissions.

note to self: don't do anything with automation until absolutely 100% totally and completely sure of the song arrangement

Post

woah yeah: still no clip automation :(

but cos ive been pretty negative about t2 so far: It's great to see a sidechain compressor included with the default plugins.

Post

I don't want to seem totally negative (almost everything i've posted 2day has seemed that way) but I was for some reason (obviously mistakenly) under the impression that the ability to move automation events with clips would be a feature of T2. If one is using multiple lanes of automation on a track it is a pita to have to copy/paste each event 1 by 1, time consuming.
