two things. Video replated : I wasnt too happy that T2 would only support QT. I somehow never got a liking for this standard. more comfy with avi. Still im thrilled its there.
I just inserted a QT movie. Why is not the sound playing back ? and import audio from picture ?
Hated the default colors. First thing I did was switched to the T1 sceme.
Love the way inputs are now routed. Thankj god for proper solo handling.
Cant find the new plugs ???
And i still have not opened the manual....
THERES A MANUAL ??!!??
looking for the Midi clok settings. and MTC.
Nice package.
Thinking of anything thats do T is overpriced is a joke. What else gets you all of this for 150 ?
Ill get back with more...

hi,
been a while since i've been here, got kinda sick of the T2 hoax stuff.
anyway, just been playing around with the demo and while i liked it at first and it seems easier on the cpu, i have the following problems:
-still dropping notes,I can hear them really faintly or clicky, only in kontakt
-seems SLOW and slugish
- while i was very happy copy and paste are now as fast as on pc (i'm on osx)
my / shortcut doesn't work and that's a real bitch.
love the new midi editor though...
cheers

QT is more cross-platform.sidhu wrote:two things. Video replated : I wasnt too happy that T2 would only support QT. I somehow never got a liking for this standard. more comfy with avi. Still im thrilled its there.
Right click on the video window and untick "mute audio"I just inserted a QT movie. Why is not the sound playing back ?
Tracktion defaults to turning off the audio track.
I think you'd need to do that in an external app.and import audio from picture ?
Pass. Some people are suggesting they are not part ofteh demo.Cant find the new plugs ???
'fraid so.THERES A MANUAL ??!!??![]()
To enable midi clock, edit thr properties of the midi out device. Otherwise, all settings are in the options button pop-up menu at the bottom left.looking for the Midi clok settings. and MTC.

Im not too sure i like the new wave display, anywaz to default to T1 style ? Usually color defined waves are easier to work with, but here it's all kinda messy...

dont think its sluggish.. just that the drawings arnt as neat... and give such an appearence...rich_h wrote:It's interesting - that's the second time I've seen the UI referred to as sluggish. I found it just as responsive as T1, and I don't find that sluggish at all.

Not there yet, Gord. Guess it would be too much to ask Mackie to release the demo AND set the prices!Beardedone wrote: Question is where is the link for online purchase?![]()

its a quibble but the look / typography are definitely slightly inferior in T2 on mac at least.

If you want to see another example of brilliance in coding by one man, check out SAW STUDIO (www.sawstudio.com). This software is in the league of Protools, Nuendo or Samplitude. Bob Lentini is another true genius.luxgud wrote:When you think that this is the work of one man (more or less)then it is a truely wonderful testomony to Jules's brilliance as a programmer.
All coded in assembly language. It truly amazes me, that one person can code / create such awesome apps like Tracktion or SawStudio.

I didn't bother reading the whole thread... but this kind of thread confirms my prediction that people need shiny new knobs and glowy things and differently-shaped objects to be given the impression that something is 'new'.
It's unfortunate that we live in a world with such superficial assumptions, but there it is.
Luckily, on page 1 there was enough sense that I trust the following 5 pages also had sensible and intelligent people.

I have to admit with no full wave editing... maybe 100 new colors and few new usable features not what I thought ?????

I seem to remember, back around January time, there being a big deal about a strip-tease or some such, where all the major features were announced. I guess I was imagining it.
