'Cause i love the new T2 but constantly having to change len-values or draw notes at the same length is making me crazy down here!!!!
BTW Have you noticed how the new demo just change the overall mood in here a bit?

I don't understand the question. What are you trying to achieve? The Len value shows/sets the length of the selected note(s), and also defines the length of any new notes to be created.
Where are you running into problems, exactly?

The problem is that i have to change the len value constantly when entering new notes, if i dont want to have the same length all over. Basically i want to drag the length of a note like in T1
Ironically a feature which is very important to me is the only thing about T1 i miss

I know but doing also changes the len-value, so i have to change it back if i want to make a note shorter than the previousModuLR wrote:you can still do that.. just hoover over the right end of the note... the cursor will change to drag arrows.

but if all your notes are going to be different lengths, you'd have to do that anyway, surely?
Tracktion isn't going to know ahead of time what you want your next note's length to be unless you tell it.
IIRC there's a keyboard modifier that lets you place a note and edit the length in one pass though, whhich may be what you need. I'm not at Tracktion rigth now, but perhaps someone else can follow that one up...

Thanks! But stil... It changes the len-value. Is it by any means possible to lock the len-value?ModuLR wrote:hold shift while placing a note... then you can adjust length simultaneously.

All you have to do is hold shift when you want a new length, and define the length with the next note you paste. Now you can paste notes of the new length until you decide you need to change it again.. seems very fast to me.Bosqoue! wrote:Thanks! But stil... It changes the len-value. Guess i have to learn to stop whining before knowing whether there is a problem or not
