Is there a way to map softsynth preset changing to the mousewheel or two keys(up /down) on my comp keyboard(in T1)? In minihost you can change presets with the mouse wheel might not be practical in tracktion but it is handy, maybe there is an app that can do this? I cant find anything in the keyboard mapping for this.
thanks
Max :)

Works in T2 for me. Just make sure the VSTi has focus.

I'm too slow  Is there an app that can map that in T1? I don't think I can afford the upgrade for a while.

midi controller

set program number on midi keyboard, save wanted presets as programs in your vsti

some vst's wont let you do this :(

T1 shortcut:

Select the synth/effect so that the context panel appears at the bottom of the screen (along with the GUI, natch). With the mouse, select a preset from the 'program' box (or even double-click the program box) so that it has focus. You can now audition presets by using the up/down cursor keys.

This behaves a lot like the new T2 ',' & '.' shortcut keys, except in T2 you can hide the filter GUI and continue to use the shortcut keys as long as the filter in question is highlighted (red outline).
