Tracktion Software

Hi Yall,

Having fun with my free T1 DP vaction and wondering if the vst waveshell (renmaxx 5.0 on a dual 1.8g5 10.3.8 in my case) doesn't work with Tracktion as it gets crash-jected at startup and f**ks all the following vsts as well. Are waves and T1 just a no go? Saw an old thread from '03 that suggested this.

But, Waves are working well in all of my Mac based apps.

even T1!!!

Thanks for the responses and welcome. T seems like a nice playground. I'm not about to try HEAvy duty multitrack edits that I can rip through with dp but it is fun. So waves seems fuk ed....... but, Rendermonster! will you please share your system and waveshell details with us so that we may learn something. Also has anyone contacted waves or mackie?

Dear Sir,

Waves plug-ins are not supported under tracktion software (PC as well as Mac), and therefore are not tested. It is very much possible that are plug-ins will not work under this audio application.
Did you use tracktion with Waves V4.0 in the past? You might want to try with Waves V4.0.

I have to correct.
Waves 4 worked fine under T1,Peak4 and DP4.5. Waves 5 are not working on both T´s anymore.
I have 10.3.8 on G4 1,25 single.
not wav´s...dont using them at all.

Well that's the kind of service you pay hundreds of dollars for.

Thanks for your info rendermonster. As far as paying hundereds of dollars for waves it sucks that they don't support T1 but I think the renaissance plugs kick ass and for me are well worth _buying_.

I wonder if its possible to install 4 and 5 on the same machine...?? I seem to remember v4 being a little weird but I was using the MAS shell.
