Funny how two people can get completely opposite impressions of the same bit of software.

i-Logic seems like a better name to me.. :hihi:

Fer crying out loud ttoz, you can't be serious :o . The only version of iLogic I used was the one bundled with Magix music studio; it took me a week of reading before I could get a sound out of that monstrosity. I learned to draw in AutoCad faster than I learned how to record a simple midi note on that thing.

Logic displays midi data in the arrange window as little notes with flags sitting not on a staff but just floating in space !

off topic?.....

I am amazed at how the circles go round and round.....sonar......then tracktion......then cubase....then logic.......then podium.......then waiting to T2......then Live........etc etc.

The money we (me?) have spent......and more importantly the TIME we've spent to not make music is rediculous.

Yeah, sure I make music, but the manuals and the drivers and the learning curves and the money........jezus krist.......the f**king money.....

It seems to me we are all lost in a new toy world with a black hole right at the center..............

there's certainly an argument that many musicians, when faced with a large enough selection of tools, completely lose sight of what it is they were trying to do.

I suspect if someone locked me away with just a harmonica for company, I'd be greatly more productive than I am today.

Of course, eyeknow, that also makes the assumption that we'd be making music if we weren't here. Which we all know isn't strictly true. ;)

I'm only here because I'm supposed to be working, and my brain is cooked.

Ifn I wasn't supposed to be working, I'd be either:

a) in bed.
b) making music with T2.

The circle stopped with Tracktion for me. Acid, Reason, Cubase, SX, Tracktion..............T2, T3, T4 etc.

If I cant make it with tracktion, I cant make it with anything else.

I really don't think Logic as anywhere as difficult as people make it out to be. I really don't get why it has that reputation.
If you have requests for Korg VST features or changes, they are listening at https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/requests/new

that's my opinion as well - the first pc-seqeuncer I used was Magix Midi Studio which is a light version of Logic. It only took me a few days to handle everything.

But it comes with a very good manual - they are even quoting the original Logic manual and are making fun of it...

Post

the most wanted feature for me were the sends and the loop recording....

and loop recording works fantastic... but then again I'm a first take guy (not that I'm perfect but I usually sing worse the second time) but it's godsend for harmony fill-ins

and sends are unluckily not able to compensate for latency

but the color editor is soooo nice.... I find myself using the betabugs scheme most of the time - it's so fresh and yet easy on the eyes (thanks lunch)

anyway... good luck with Logic.... I used to like it back in the days... but T2 is honestly all I need
