Mac or PC? Which OS?
Cannot confirm here with PC/WinXP-SP2. Works like a charm without crashing.
Tested in "Open Project" Dialog with context menu (right mouse button click).

My system: Pentium 4 3.0G HT 800mhz, 512 Dual DDR2 533mhz., Intel Eatonvile motherboard (915 chipset) with onboard VGA - Intel Extreme Graphics, M-Audio Delta66 Soundcard
To Reproduce:
1. Go to projects tab and click "open project" or "new project"
2. Click the "create new folder" and select the folder
3. Click the Delete button of your keyboard and wait a few second to see tracktion freeze.
Comments:
- At first tracktion crashed on me but then I disabled "Dialog Mate" and tracktion just froze instead.
- The problem happened on my machine across 3 different windows installations and also on a machine of a friend (he has an AMD based system)
- The problem accrues in T2 also.
edit: changed colors

Nope - still can't confirm!
I did *exactly* (and several times) what U are describing above, but Tracktion (neither T1 nor T2)didn't freeze. Hardware is nearly the same as yours.
But as you mentioned the "delete button": I remember there was a similar problem years ago (must be around 2003). IMHO it has been mentioned before with same responses: some could confirm, others not! Could have something to do with different language versions of the OS?
I don't get it to do do a search in the archive of this forum (is it possible, anyway?)
So, finally I must agree with pHz: weird one!
Sorry...

I see, my OS supports Hebrew.... Maybe this bug has something to do with the fact Tracktion is not Unicode.
@Phz - Does your OS supports additional languages?

Good catch that man! This certainly does sound like the old dialog box bug. I don't know if that ever got fixed as only a handful of people ever experienced it and no-one else could ever replicate it.Crossinger wrote: But as you mentioned the "delete button": I remember there was a similar problem years ago (must be around 2003). Someone shot the food. Remember: don't shoot food!
