If you post a MIDI file, I'd gladly play it back through any of the K2 instruments and post an MP3, so you could just listen for yourself what it sounds like.
Personally, I find some of the VSL instruments to sound really great, others are so-so, and again others (but only very few) are less than mediocre. Over all, if you don't have any larger orchestral library allready (which was the case for me), they are a truly great bargain... let's not forget they're coming with some kickass sampler.

Someone asked about KSP guitars....
My .02 is that i would (if not beeing already a komplete care owner) upgrade just for them...they are AMAZING. Just throw an amplitube or the like after them and here you are with a lot of differents guitars sounds and there are some very useful rythmics (you can compose your own and even if it's rewarding i found the akkord guitar a bit long to compose)...if you want i can post a demo.
VSL library is really great but i don't use orchestral sounds a lot and have nothing better or equivalent to compare.

here's a short preview.
first pattern, first song. you can of course choose whatever chords you want, when you want.

enjoyUp to 43 chord types are available in each key, resulting in over 3500 samples!
That means when you trigger a Gb 7 (#9,b13) chord, you will hear a sample of an acoustic guitar playing a Gb 7 (#9,b13) chord - NOT a transposition of another chord or a chord that has been assembled from individual notes.
The Akkord Guitar features an intelligent chord recognition
mechanism, 64 rhythmic preset patterns and a user preset management for patterns and chords.

Actually, chord detection in those KSP patches is working pretty fine.

Damn this guitar sounds... like a guitar, at least to my non-guitarist ears.
Please don't post any more K2 samples! I might not be able to resist the temptation!
Thanks in advance, Jo

How does the scripting thing work with (for example) the guitar sounds? Do you set up a script to play, say, a major chord and then just play single notes on the keyboard for different chords? If so, how do you then change to a minor chord? or do you use a script to play a sequence of chords triggered by a single root note?
I can hear some great dynamics in the mp3 posted, so this is clearly more than just using an arpeggiator to simulate strumming!
Beginning to wish I'd bought Komplete Kare when I had some Kash now
Regards,
Derek.
