I'm using one track outputting to a tracktion sampler - just some drums, nothing major, but try it with any VSTi. I click on the midi input of this track and the context sensitive area gives over to the displayed midi keyboard, dialog etc. If I run my mouse over the keyboard, the keys stop highlighting briefly, a speech bubble pops up saying 'MCU markers mode: not yet implemented!' and then random things happen, like it suddenly goes to the projects page (pressing the 'G2' piano key), the automation play button highlights briefly ('F3'), or I've also got a 'copied to clipboard' speech bubble popping up. Pressing the 'D3' piano key will bring up 'big' track meters, and 'C4-F4' controls the 'loop, scroll' etc buttons. I've tried to emulate this behaviour in T1, but it doesn't do it. Stranger still, it only seems to hapen on midi channel '1' or (none). Have tried with imported projects and new projects, same behaviour.
The 'midi controller remapping' button is selected, as is 'end to end'. This is all on WinXP btw, with a screen rez of 1600x1200 if that is of any importance.
How queer eh?
Anyone care to see if they can repeat this, or am I super special??
