particularly people pushing outdated, outmoded - badly overpriced - systems on alternate system's boards. That's a microsoft technique.

I can't check anymore cos I don't have T1 installed on my new PC. 
However, it does seem slicker.. the only thing I noticed that might be slower than T1 is opening (very) large edits: I wonder if T2 does some pre-calculation that T1 didn't, which might explain the lower overheads..
Anyway, its all good!
