well this computer doesn't have a good enough soundcard and no speakers but i've installed it and it's running well enough to try the interface out.. all's grand!

Unbelievable... all this build up and then they release it the VERY DAY I'm meant to be leaving to stay with the inlaws for the weekend...

For the record it was hell... people falling sick so we couldn't do any of the stuff we planned. I just sat there wishing for a decent internet connection and my DAW...

Don't worry, I still haven't managed to try it properly yet - the house is upside down at the moment, and my music stuff is set up on the floor in the loft, my wife's dressmaking room, with a pair of headphones. I've got a while of this yet, so you'll still get to try it properly before me! The only memorable event so far when trying it is treading ona pin which went right through my little toe.

I managed a brief play last night and it all seems rather good. Everything behaving itself. Loop recording is typically 'Tracktion'; simpler to use than any other app without missing anything important.
