I am so excited about the new version. QT support is awesome. The new midi editor rocks. Why is everyone so down? The features you need will be added. Just give Jules some time. And Jules my hats off to you for the improvements.

Do you get the feeling that everybody is down? I've seen post by peoples who are disapointed that their own personal feature request wasn't implemented, evn thought the feature list has been posted for a while I guess a lot of peoples were hopefull anyway and it's easy to understand. As many post by peoples who seems completely happy with this release.
I'm one of the happy one, the new features I think are a welcome addition and I think it's a major improvement over T1; the only bummer for me is the May release date, I had great hope of having QT support to finish the project I'm working on, but sometime in May is way too late for it, and the still unknown upgrade price.

I think that in general people make more noise when they are unhappy. You'd be amazed how many people you *don't* hear from when they are satisfied, and those you do, you'll only hear from the once. Those who are dissatisfied however tend to make a lot of noise. Inevitably therefore the noise wilkl generally seem negative.
Personally, if I hadn't been asked to keep an eye on the forum, I would not have been here. I know Jules and Beno know what features I think are missing, 'cos I've posted FRs before. Other than that, T2 is an impovement over T1, which is basically the point. Beyond that, I;d have nothing much else to say.

I haven't said a thing about T2 because I love it. The midi editor alone is worth the wait. After a short play around with it I can see that I'll be pretty happy programming with it and won't have to use FLStudio in it any longer. Yay. Exporting just got easier. And I for one like the skin manager. It is a bit hard to figure out which lable corresponds to which GUI feature but I can get colours that do not irritate my eyes. Love it.

The KVR color scheme is awesome! I'll think I'll leave that as my default.Lunch Money wrote:I second that.Oh, and for extra fun, give the KVR colour scheme a try.

I'll second what people are saying in this thread.
T2 is great. It just takes what was already tits(T1)
and made it better.
Right now I'm studying that demo song(and the user guide) to get an idea of how submixes and the aux send and returns work. I'm learning a lot just by doing that.
I for one, am happy

T2 is absolutely super. it's tracktion, but better. there's nothing i can complain about. i've had a blast making my own blue&pink colourscheme and i'm happy with how it all works. i heart T and this is never gonna make me unhappy

Sadly I can't afford to spend too much time learning about T2 until they give us a way to buy it !!
But I'm still finding cool ways to work in T1 so no hurry.

The one new feature that kinda pisses me off is this stupid hissing sound
T1 never made any noise, it's clean and quiet... I don't understand why Jules added that feature.

T2 works beautifully over here. Its a big improvement over T1. And I'm sure the features that didnt make it for the 2.0 release are going to make it in the 2.x updates. So no worries for me. I'm ejoying making music with T more than ever.

Maybe the reason is because it took way too long, and there is no way to buy it and be done with all this forum crap..........AD80 wrote:I used to love comin here but lately it just gives me a headache. So many downers and newbies trying to change T into their old sequencer.valley wrote:

How can you "make music" with the demo? That hissing sound is pretty annoying (ala linplug....)
It would be nice if those "rah rah" types would read the "bitching" that is being done and realize there is a damn good reason.
We are still waiting for the update price and a way to purchase the product. BENO said all that would be done at one time just recently in this very forum. What other conclusion can you come to other than we are being yanked.
For those of you who were beta testers......you have a real version.......you have no right to complain about the rest of us COMPLAINING about being yanked!
Frankly, if it was released.....I'd own it.......and at least I'd be out of the "bitching" circles.....but for now I will continue to post these "whinny" posts in the hope that someone can understand why "we, the whinny ones" are "bitching"...............
