Kevlar, what are your speakers/headphones connected to? Your Ozone, or a sound card in your machine?
If you see yourself playing on the meters, then you're almost there, you just have an output problem.
Are you getting ANY sound out of Tracktion, i.e. if you bring some audio in and play it, can you hear it on the outputs you're expecting?
also double check in your Ozone control panel you don't have anything muted. (I have the Oxygen8 and there is a small bug in the control panel that doesn't properly display a tick box in the MONO question, so it's worth checking).
Maybe post a screenshot of your Ozone mixer/control panel if you're still having no joy.
cheers
Matthew

Hi Matthew!
My speakers are connected to my iMac. I don't have a sound card in my imac.
I am not getting any sound out of Tracktion. I opened the demo/example song and no sound for that sond either.
Here is a screenshot of my Ozone control panel:

Ahh so it is grasshopper we have found the solution...
On your audio midi set up default output should be set to
"m-audio ozone"
From the Ozones physical outs to your amp/speakers or mixer.
then all will be revealed.
you can set your system output to the Ozone too.
Itunes will sound better...

Hi Mapper!
Ahha. I've changed the audio midi set up to 'm-audio ozone'. But, the problem is I don't have an amp, external speakers or a mixer hooked up to my system. I just use the mini's that come with the iMac. Is that my problem, because I am saving up to get a mixing board and some nearfield monitors. I just don't get it though. I can use the Ozone to play sounds from the different machines in Reason. I don't know why they won't play in Tracktion.
Thanks for the reply!

Either use headphones coming out of the Ozone or in Tracktions settings choose "built-in audio" for the wave device.
That should do it!!
Good Luck.
p.s. you'll have to change default output in the mac settings too but dont alter the midi settings.

Mapper!
It's working!!!
I set the Wave device to built in audio and that's it, I can now play and hear sounds from my Ozone.

Yes!
Thank you Mapper, Gold68, Chico, Semiquaver, Valley and James for helping a newbie out.
This forum is awesome.

Kevin

Hi all.
I've got everything running nice with the Ozone thx!
I just bought an E-MU SP12 Turbo drum machine/sampler. I want to hook it up through the Ozone to play in Tracktion. I've got it hooked up now but i'm getting no sounds.
I have the SP12 (1/4") mix out to mic in (XLR) on the Ozone.
and midi out of the Ozone to midi in on the SP12.
Then the Ozone is connected via usb to my cpu.
Anyone?
Thaks
