I have an external midi controller (Hades VMC207)surface that works fine with Sonar, and so far I have encountered two problems with T2:
1.- MMC seems not to work at all.
2.- For example, when linking fader 1 to a track 1, track 1 responds not only to fader 1 movements, but to fader 2, 3, 4 ... movements!.
Is there a bug or am I doing something wrong?
Pls. help!!!

1. Can you be more specific? Have you set up the appropriate input in the "Timecode" menu?
2. Ah. This does seem to be a bit of an issue: it seems that Tracktion ignores the MIDI channel when linking a parameter to a filter. I'm guessing that all your faders are set to transmit controller #7 on different channels, but T is seeing all these as the same controller.
Is it possible to configure your controller so that each fader uses a different cc number?
If not you'll have to wait for a fix I think..

Just to elaborate a bit, I have successfully operated Tracktion's transport controls from my VS880 via MMC: this seems to work ok as far as I can tell..
Your second issue I have replicated with the VS880 (which doesn't allow controller assignments to be changed) and have reported through the proper channels..

1- Yes I´ve selected the right midi input in the "Timecode" menu. For example, when pressing "play", "B1 1A 7F" message is transmited.
2.- When moving fader 1: "B0 7 (Whatever value)", when moving fader 2: "B1 7.... etc",are transmited, so controller *7(volume) is transmited in all faders but channel is specified through: B0=fader 1, B1=fader 2 etc..

Strange. It just works here.. the only things I had to do were to set my VS as MMC master, and choose the input in Tracktion.trs wrote: 1- Yes I´ve selected the right midi input in the "Timecode" menu.
I get 7f 7f 06 03 for <play>trs wrote: when pressing "play", "B1 1A 7F" message is transmited.
<Record> gives 7f 7f 06 06
pressing <stop> produces either 3 or 4 sysex strings depending on whether the VS is playing at the time (I think) but the first is always 7f 7f 06 01
.. are there any setup options on your controller to play with?
