I still can't believe how well this works. 5ms latency, recording my guitar to a sampled drum pattern, no lags, nothing. Heaps of samples loaded, couple of audio tracks, couple of midi tracks, reason connected via rewire, a mastering plugin and a couple of eqs here an there, and my cpu is at 30-40%, and that's already my centrino going at half throttle because it hasn't got enough to do. Amazing. Only thing that bothers me is that I've got all sorts of crackling and interference coming from the notebook's line in, but I only hear that when monitoring, the noise isn't recorded. No idea what that is. But what the hell. This is good enough for me right now. I've been using a dmx 6-fire in my old desktop, and I'm quite happy with asio4all right now. It isn't as good, sure, but its good enough, and its free
