I know y'all are obessessed with T2 right now, but I've no time for the demo as I'm working on trying to get some tracks done T1.

Anyhow... I used the export audio function to create a wav file from an edit. On one track I've automated the mix parameter on Bionic Delay (basically, so that the effect is only applied at certain points in the song). Everything plays lovely in the edit, in the resulting wav file however, the automation is wrong. The song starts out with delay (instead of it coming in halfway through). Interestingly, at the end of the song where the delay should be automated out, it is.

I think I read about someone suggesting that I put an extra automation node at the beginning of the track and I'll try that... any other thoughts?

that should do it

just put a movment bufore the audio in the track so when the audio starts the autamation is in the right place

good luck

I've just been exchanging PM's with Zauni about a problem I'm having with T1 and jamstix. Everything works fine when playing the edit, but in the rendered audio, the "intro" event is dropped by jamstix and the drums just sort of...start...

could it be the same problem?

what are the demo limitations on jamstix? becouse so meny seem to be having problems with it i should realy go get the demo & play with it a bit?

for the reckord any thing i render i have a space at the bigining & i play that blank space for a seckond before i start to render

that way Tracktion is ready for the settings for the bigining of the render

eg if the delay echo is on in the part of the tune you are playing before you hit render & the start of the track has no off autamation movement sent to it sometimes it will stay on intill it hits a automation movement

Yup. That did it. I added an extra automation node at the beginning to ensure that the mix was at zero and everything rendered swimmingly. Thanks dj.
At home, he's a tourist...
