Is this how it works? It just seems like you should select a clip using it's top bar, to edit it.
T2 midi editor bug?

I haven't completely got a handle on this yet, but has anyone else seen this: Select a midi clip for editting, cntrl-click on a note on the keyboard to select all notes of that key. Sometimes, the notes from the last clip I worked on get selected instead of the clip I had selected. I just noticed that if I click somewhere in the body of the clip (not the top bar), it seems to work fine...
Is this how it works? It just seems like you should select a clip using it's top bar, to edit it.

IT should only affect the selected clip.
I haven't seen what you are describing, but I'll try it and see if I can replicate.

it's a defo on the pc!
not that it would effect the way i work but it's not supposed to do that i would guss
i have noticed that you allways had to do this if you wanted to ctrl+a to sellect all midi notes so i supose it just became a habit to click in there from the start

I couldn't replicate this
Edit: gave it another try and can now confirm this behaviour...
I'll also point out that in T1 when you have the MIDI editor active on a clip, using the arrow tool to click any blank space in the clip selects that clip and denotes the selection by highlighting the clip (red outline); doing the same thing in T2 won't activate the clip highlight unless you click the top bar of the clip. I think that's an oversight...
