I've been wondering what descriptor is tied to the big 'X' that happens on the mute/solo filter when mute is active...?

There is none. You're stuck with red.

I asked because I've been using a colour scheme (the 'Camo' one, posted a bit earlier somewhere) where the X's are a very pale brown, and I wanted to switch it *back* to red. Have I missed something?

yeah it can be changed.. my scheme changed it to dark blue! i can't remember what descriptor it is tho...
Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.

one thing i learned tho is that when it seems that all hope is gone and you can't find the descriptor for something, (and you've changed any colours that are similar to the one you're trying to change) change to the settings tab and then back to the edit page; it recalculates everything properly then. that one buggered me up good'n proper. i think it was LM who pointed that out to me!

heehee ... i thought that was so obvious you MUST be looking for the unselected border ...

... i always wonder why the colour editor calls them strips and not clips though ...

I made the Camo scheme. The descriptor to make the "X" on the mute/solo filter is the one that says "mute button text rollover" (alot of these are inter-related and you must change one to see a change in something else). I changed it as soon as I realized that the other color wasn't going to work. You can get the updated scheme here.

Right... forgot about that. ;) Sometimes one element is calculated based on another.

Lovely...thanks, dealwithit. I am partial to these earth-toned schemes (don't know of any other audio apps that take this approach...?)

I made that from a request to do one in "Desert Camo" from a guy who said he had just come back from Iraq (and I liked the idea of the earth tones). I honestly have never seen any other audio app use those type colors, but some are skinnable, so maybe...
