P5 doesn't export midi, Muzys exports midi but for some reason it seems to export everything onto channel 1. I've composed a few loops for a cell phone ringtone and I'm trying to make a .mid file from it...

All "big" sequencers do. And even the smaller/older versions of Cubase do as well.
Basically anything originally starting as a MIDI sequencer (Logic, Cubase, Sonar) and apparently a few others as well.

Ditto: Any sequencer I've used will export MIDI with seperate channels, volume, pan, etc. Make sure you're exporting to MIDI Format 1 - Format 0 will sum it all to one channel.
