i get this message every 2nd time (after install) i start t2: screen shot

and then this one click

maby you have an older or newer rewire version installed previously to t2 install. try reinstalling it and when it t2 installroutine says it has found an other rewire dll, confirm to overwrite it. don't know if it helps, but that i would try next.

it will install together with the t2 demo. but only with the "full examples" demo. maby you have downloaded the smaler version ?!

no.it's the full examples demo. and it's never asked to overwrite anything

then this shouldn't be the reason. but then however, have you reinstalled it since it asked you for that.

twice. it works fine, i close t2, and when i re-open i get those error messages

ahh, sure you have as i understand you right, you install it and then from the second time on you start t2 it gives you this message. (i thought first, every second time like it works, it works not, it works, than not...)

no. i meant every second time after an instal. and than (the 3rd, 4th.. times) still doesn't work) only if i reinstall

Hey,

Make sure the 'settings' file is deleted in the Documents and settings\*user*\application data\Tracktion folder after you uninstall Traction.

Now re-install and disable rewire if you don't need it on Tracktion's settings tab.

This same thing was happening to my version but I was able to fix it by deleting my settings file and replacing it with a backup. I don't use rewire devices so I turn rewire support off. Hope this helps.

BTW...I was getting this error after changing the color schemes a number of times or the size of the Tracktion dialog window.

Is there any possibility your setup file didn't download completely? You might want to re-download it. Just a thought.
