Like I would know.

Didn't need a manual for T1 (after I figured out the whole filter thing, anyway), and I haven't needed one yet with T2. Then again, maybe I should try something besides editing color schemes. ;)

...and there it is. Thanks Valley.

Strange that the Acrobat Reader search didn't find it :?

You have to click in the left column, then move a controller... tada. then choose the assignation on the right side panel.
Tried that. No luck :(

Box still remained blank...

...and when I tried different knobs/sliders/keys on the Ozonic, Tracktion crashed.

Repeated this exercise three times with same results.

:help:

Can you explain more about that?

hmmmnnn ... odd ... the new MIDI mapping has always worked flawlessly here with both my mk-225c and x-session ... maybe its an m-audio issue ???

anyone else on m-audio confirm ???

Two questions:

firstly, did you mess around with the settings on the external controllers page? You may want to go back and make sure both the MCU and C4 options have unassigned for both their MIDI devices.

secondly, does your controller simply send CC messages, or does it send sysex? I'm not sure that the control mapper will work with sysex.

looking at the ozonic webpage ... the controllers can apparently be programmed to do either ... so that MIGHT well be a possible issue ???

Works perfect with my Radium 49. I've tried it with various combinations of MIDI ins/outs being disabled, and everything worked as I expected. As long as the In USB Keystation driver was enabled in the (not so well-named) Audio Devices panel, it responds as expected.

The boxes to the right both say that nothing is assigned

I'm not sure to be honest, as its new and I've not studied it in great depth yet. I mostly bought it because I'm a keyboard player and wanted a small keybaord to go on my desk when I'm away from my music room. And for the firewire audio.

I'll check the Ozonic manual and get back to you, but I will have to sign off for now and try again tomorrow.

Thanks guys - hopefully sort this out in the morning 8)

I'm mapping my whole BCR (yep), and I cannot retrieve CC#6. Tracktion interprets it as RPN#0 ???
However, it works, so I guess it is just a mistype...

Also, I would love to know where the mapping is stored, so as to copy it avery time I start a new project.

if youre brave enough to try and hack the edit .xml ...

Code: Select all

 <CONTROLLERMAPPINGS>
    <MAP id="65560" param="track 1 >> volume & pan filter >> volume"/>
  </CONTROLLERMAPPINGS>
... its there i guess (havent tried copying into another edit yet though TBH)

if paste and cut is all we need, I'm sure we'll see it in the next release... hopefully.
Thanks for testing.
