I finaly downloaded T2.

I cant take it...how can you make music with that awful hissing noise. I cant record a thing and as such I wont even be trying any of the new features.

I dont get how you guys are dealing. :(

Long Live T1.

Mackie have definitely NOT handled right fwiw. There are folks who WOULD have unlocked their demos right away who will have changed thier minds in the interval. Furthermore the way to work it is with a limited duration fully functioning demo. Then people would use it love it and pay to keep their projects. This way people use it, are too annoyed by the hiss to "grok" it and bail out OR they read all the bitching on this forum and then decide to wait or shine it on.

Your intitled to your opinion, but you should notice how much louder it is than mine.

I also think a time limited demo à la Audition would have been better, and would have worked 'till, what, the official release. The way it is now we have to contend with the hissing AND the no render AND wait for it to be released.
Bundling those Mackie plug ins so they work in T1 is cool thought.

Its all Mackie's fault. Bastards! :x

They did it on porpoise I reckon, cos they're probably secretly working for Steinberg or something.

BASTARDS!! :tantrum:

Its their fault Bush won the election too, and I bet Beno killed the Pope.. very suspiciously timed "holiday" if you ask me..

Hehe.....

Im sure its a conspiracy. They surely wouldnt want me to buy the darn thing. :idiot:

Maybe when they release it I will give it a try.......then again maybe not?

Of course, it hisses on purpose, as some others have already mentioned. I personally didn't find the hiss to be that annoying, at least not when I was just trying out some of the program's features. I didn't expect to be able to actually create music on it, since it's only a demo. That's what I have T1 for.

As a demo, I think it serves its purpose pretty well.

Maybe you would you rather have a Mission Impossible dongle, that self-destructs after 10 sessions?

If I were a software developer, that's what I would use. :)

What Hiss?

I just wish there was a way to make it bpm sync to an Lfo or something.

Which plugins are you trying to sync to Tracktion's BPM setting?

The hiss.

So that it could be a part of his song.

Yeab, something like that. Heck, I could make an entire album at 82 bpm called "T Hiss". And then download it my iToaster :D
